Bronnor marijuana vape pens recalled in Colorado over ethanol concerns

Colorado regulators have issued a recall of vaporizer pens made by the Bronnor Corp.

Medible review bronnor marijuana vape pens recalled in colorado over ethanol concernsAccording to Westword, the Colorado Department of Taxation issued a public safety advisory Jan. 24 stemming from potentially unsafe levels of residual ethanol in a product Bronnor manufactures, Bullet Concentrates.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The recall included four batches of vape pens.
  • Bullet vice president Paul Bohannon said the recall doesn’t affect the company’s products in any other states.
  • Bronnor manufactures infused products for Colorado companies that don’t have the facilities to do so. Bronnor’s products include vaporizer cartridges, edibles, topicals and tinctures.
  • Colorado is beginning mandatory testing of cannabis products in February for residual solvents, including ethanol. Bronnor voluntarily sent its products to be tested.
