On November 8, 2022, voters in Colorado passed a ballot initiative to decriminalize possession of and legalize limited use of psychedelic mushrooms and other plant- and fungi-derived psychedelic drugs by those 21 years of age or older.
We feel that now is the time to help our fellow Coloradans (as well as anyon else who is interested) find meaningful information on these fantastic fungi.
We will, over the coarse of the next few months, be adding reviews of all the varieties of psychedelic mushrooms that we can get our hands on.
Availability
In order to be reviewed here on Medible Review, the fungi in question must be readily available for purchase in either spore prints or liquid mushroom cultures. We do not deal with any vendor selling the mushrooms themselves, as this would be illegal.
There are quite a few online vendors who sell spore prints and liquid mushroom cultures. We cannot possibly list them all, but we will let you kow the ones that we have tried ourselves and know to be reputable.
Legality
Some states have made the posession of Psilocybe Cubensis and Psilocybe Mexicana spores and liquid mushroom cultures illegal. If you currently live in California, Georgia or Idaho, then you are out of luck (unless you find someone who will ship them to you under the table).
California may be changing its legal position soon, we will try to keep this updated as things change. Please DO NOT rely on Medible Review for legal advice when it comes to Magic Mushrooms. The legal landscape can change overnight. Please do your own research.
For all other states (as of this writing), it is legal to posess psylocibin mushroom spores and liquid cultures for microscopy researcy only. It is, however, illegal to cultivate those spores or cultures into actual mushrooms. The only exceptions to this at this time appear to be Colorado and possibly Oregon.
