Cannabis Infused Buckeyes – Chocolate and Peanut Butter with a kick!

Cannabis Infused Buckeyes recipe – Chocolate and Peanut Butter with a kick!

Here’s a classic peanut butter and chocolate candy recipe upgraded with a cannabis infused twist! These chocolate covered peanut butter balls are made with cannabutter making them one of the most delicious ways to medicate! If you want a stronger version of these treats, try adding cannabis oil or cannabis distillate to the peanut butter mixture before blending.

  • 6 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup cannabutter, melted

  • 4 cups (24 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (infused or not)

  1. Using an electric mixer (or by hand) slowly combine the peanut butter, sugar and melted cannabutter until smooth and thoroughly mixed.
  2. Roll into 1-inch balls and set aside
  3. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together on low heat, stirring well until melted.
  4. Using a toothpick, stab each ball and dunk ¾ of the way into the chocolate, leaving a bare spot on top. Set on wax paper to cool.
  5. Once you have dunked all the balls, place them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Enjoy!

Makes about 6 dozen 1” balls

I don’t see why not! Id love to hear how they come out, post back here when you make them!

I made these and like everything else I made with cannabutter it has too strong a taste. Is there a way to hide the grass flavor when you make edibles? My butter is always dark green and kinda stinky and that smell and taste turns me off. I was hoping peanut butter would hide it better but it dont. Do i need to try a new butter recipe? Does coconut oil make a difference? Help! I really want to make my own edibles but they so far all taste bad as the butter does. A useful answer will make me… Read more »

I haven’t personally been able to completely get rid of the cannabis taste in my edibles, but that never stops people from buying them!

It is hard to completely eliminate the taste completely, but some foods do a better job of masking the flavor better than others. If you use distillate without the terps re-added or an extract made from water cured flower it can almost be totally eliminated in some recipes, but it definitely is recipe dependent.
